I was born and raised in Barranquilla Colombia, later on I moved to Queens NY, and this is now my 10th year in Denver. I graduated from Atlantic University and received my Bachelors in education, with a major in Spanish and a minor in French.
I have been teaching for 20 years and 10 of those with DPS.
My son David and I have a Chihuahua named Nika! We are a small but loving family. We love homemade cooking. We barely ever eat out. Another thing we like is the great outdoors. We all love camping, just to spend some time together and roast marshmallows. We love camping and cooking but our favorite thing to do is to listen to music. Our favorite types of music are African, Salsa, and Rock and Roll!
I am excited to start my first year at Joe Shoemaker and have the opportunity to work with so many caring wonderful people.
