The 2025-26 SchoolChoice window is now open and runs through Feb. 18. Shoemaker is accepting applications for full day ECE (early childhood education) age 4 through 5th grade. Grab your child’s birth certificate and your current Xcel bill or Lease/Mortgage statement and visit SchoolChoice to apply today.
You should participate in School Choice:
– If your child is a current ECE student at Shoemaker to obtain a kindergarten spot
– to choose a middle school for your rising 5th grader
– to change to another DPS school
You do not need to participate in SchoolChoice if your child is currently attending Shoemaker in grades K-4th. You will need to complete online registration at myportal.dpsk12.org by Feb. 18, 2025.
