Hello, my name is Donnie Staggs. I was born and raised in the Denver Metro area, and have always loved this city and it’s culture. I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in May 2015, where I majored in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education and Reading. After completing my student teaching with a Kindergarten class, I fell in love and knew that I wanted to work with the younger kiddos.
As an educator, I love watching my students grow and learn. I believe that the best part of working with children is watching them progress and take risks.
I live in Denver with my husband and our two dogs, Abbey and Khan. In my free time I enjoy being outdoors; in the winter you can find me snowboarding in the mountains, and in the summers hiking.
