PTO
Welcome to the Joe Shoemaker School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO).
The purpose of the PTO is to:
- Build a strong community among all of the schools’ families, students and staff.
- Promote the social, emotional, and academic growth of all of the school’s students.
- Provide financial assistance where needs are identified.
- Support the mission and vision of Shoemaker and EL Learning.

Do you want to get involved? We are looking for volunteers to be in charge of a committee or be a member of a committee. https://forms.gle/nNwuT6xRVg3S2Kck6
Committees include:
- Events – helping to plan our big events throughout the year like the Carni-fall, Shoe B Que, Pot lucks, and movie nights
- Community Outreach – help with the backpack program, winter clothing drive, thanksgiving meal, and Shoe Troopers.
- Fundraising – help with Box Tops, King Soopers cards, and Dinner Night out at restaurants.
- Teacher Appreciation during winter holiday season and teacher appreciation week in April.
- Volunteer – help recruit and sign up for field day, Shoe Troopers, and Friday Folders.

Did you know you can link your King Sooper’s card to help send donations to our school? It’s easy. In your King Soopers app or the store’s website:
- From the menu select My Account or Account Details
- Select Community Rewards
- Type in Joe Shoemaker to find the Joe Shoemaker School Parent Teacher Organization
- Click enroll
Just shop as you would normally and a percentage of what you spend will be donated to our school PTO.
